We’ve had a great first couple of days at Shader Croft Williston! In addition to getting started with classes, students went swimming and hiking for our afternoon adventures. We had a lot of fun climbing Mt. Philo, and we also learned a lot about each other. Kara found out that Colin is a master riddler as he told riddles almost the whole way up the mountain! It turns out that Patrick HATES snakes and Dylan LOVES them. We learned that this was Liz’s first mountain climb, and she did great conquering it! Ethan was proud to be the first one up to the top in his group.

Our swimmers were a determined bunch as they took the swimming test at the pool. They encouraged each other and did a great job! We had fun playing Marco Polo and Sharks and Minnows, and Dylan, David and Damon showed off their moves on the diving board. This was the start of many more swimming adventures!
