Shader Croft School 2015:

Dear Students and Parents/Guardians,

SCS is rapidly approaching and we are excited that YOU are going to join us this summer!  We have been thinking and planing about this summer and about you. The staff is charged up, the plans are set and now we are ready for five weeks filled with fun and fellowship. Now, a few things you need to know before you get here.

Our first day is Monday, June 29th 2015.  Breakfast service begins in the cafeteria at 7:30 am, class starts promptly at 8:30 am.  We will be in the two technology education classrooms.  Please be on time!  Our program ends at 4 pm, so make sure your transportation needs are figured out before 4.

For the first three days of camp we will be taking a beginners swimming class at the YMCA.  Make sure you bring or wear something you are comfortable swimming in and a towel.  We will leave school at 10:30 and return for lunch at noon.

This year we are offering parents/guardians the opportunity to enjoy a little taste of the SCS experience. On our first Thursday afternoon, July 2nd, parents/guardians are invited to meet us at school for an afternoon potluck lunch at 2 pm. We will convene in the middle school wing of the building upstairs.

Our skilled and trained staff are just as thrilled (and nervous!) as you are to be here this summer and are ready to lead you in awesome academics, terrific trips, and great programming. We’re pretty sure you’ll even make some new friends along the way!
